I had an amazing time at the resort, enjoying the stunning landscapes and luxurious accommodations. The service was primarily friendly and eager to assist, though there were a few hiccups in planning activities. The dining options were good, but I found a lack of variety during my stay. Overall, it’s a beautiful getaway, but managing expectations around certain activities would enhance the experience.

Rooms

Our spacious Kiva Signature room featured a private hot tub and an indoor Kiva fireplace, creating a cozy atmosphere perfect for relaxation. Although it lacked some amenities on the second night, the overall experience in the room was fantastic.
Service
7.0
While most staff were friendly and helpful, I did encounter some issues with booking activities that were not clearly communicated. It seemed there were some limitations due to staffing, affecting the overall experience.
Location
8.0
The resort is beautifully nestled in the canyon, offering breathtaking views and tranquility, but it can be a bit challenging to access. The isolated nature of the location enhances the feeling of a secluded retreat.
Dining
7.0
Dining was enjoyable, especially our private dinner, yet the limited menu choices during our stay left something to be desired. The food quality was commendable, but more variety would have greatly improved our experience.
Facilities
8.0
The resort features impressive facilities, including well-maintained grounds and unique activities such as UTV tours. However, the limited availability and staffing may affect your ability to fully enjoy everything offered.

I had an incredible time at Gateway Canyons! The stunning views and unique activities made this trip unforgettable. The rooms offered a perfect retreat, but dining options could use some improvements for longer stays. It's definitely a remote location, which might not suit everyone, but those looking for adventure and tranquility will love it.

Our casita was spacious and offered a beautiful view. It felt like a tranquil retreat, and we enjoyed having a private hot tub and fireplace.
Service

The concierge was exceptional, providing great suggestions and tips that enhanced our stay immensely. Staff were caring and attentive, making us feel welcomed throughout our visit.
Location
8.0
The resort is situated in a stunning, remote area, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty. However, getting there can be a challenge, and the isolation could limit options for entertainment.
Dining
6.0
While the dining options were initially promising, after a few nights, the limited menu became repetitive. It would be nice to see more variety.
Facilities
7.0
Facilities like the automobile museum and the organized excursions were fantastic, although some areas could use more upkeep. The outdoor spaces were inviting and well-maintained.

This resort offers a unique getaway with stunning views and a range of activities, perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle. While the accommodations were spacious and comfortable, the remote location means limited dining options and higher resort fees. The combination of outdoor adventures and excellent spa services makes it an appealing choice, though potential guests should be ready for seclusion away from city amenities.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were spacious and featured unique amenities, such as a deep soaking tub and outdoor hot tub. However, they weren't stocked with water or those little pillow candies during my second night, which was a bit disappointing.
Service
7.0
The service was generally proactive and accommodating, ensuring that all our plans went smoothly. However, there seemed to be some inconsistencies during our stay compared to previous visits.
Location
6.0
The location is beautifully remote, set amidst stunning natural landscapes, though it's quite isolated and far from other dining options. This seclusion can be a downside if you're looking for variety in nearby attractions.
Dining
6.0
Dining options were somewhat limited, with only one restaurant open during our stay. The food quality was decent, but I expected a bit more for the price.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities offered a good variety of activities, including a car museum and UTV tours. However, I felt that the pricing for resort fees was steep given the limited amenities currently available.
